The project name, Sign Crushes Motorist, is the title of a Duster song. McCay has also cited the late Apistat Commander as an influence.Sign Crushes Motorist is just one of McCay’s pseudonyms which also includes Take Care, Birth Day, Make His Ribs Show, Manta, Hold, Miserable Teens Club, Roaming, Death Trap, Moon Water ,etc.Olivia ORewRew is a dedicated musician from the suburbs of Delaware, shapes his unique sound from shoegaze, emo, grunge, and bedroom pop influences. AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. VIP Doors: 5:30 PMDoors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PMVacationerHailing from the greater Philadelphia area. Founded by singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Ken Vasoli, Vacationer play a sophisticated form of dreamy, left-field music shaded with Exotica and Tropicalia influences. Vasoli’s unique production style is equally inspired by the ambitious orchestral pop of Brian Wilson and Barry White as well as the sample-based constructions of artists like Madlib. Prior to Vacationer, Vasoli was known as a member of pop-punk/emo band the Starting Line, as well as his more experimental outlet Person L. Gradually, Vasoli became tired of making aggressive music and screaming at the top of his lungs every night, so he formed Vacationer as an outlet to explore more relaxed, escapist moods. Rhythmic, heady, and hypnotic yet peppered with heartfelt lyrics and genuine emotion, Vacationer’s debut EP was released in 2011, followed by the full-length Gone in 2012; both were put out by Downtown Records. After touring with bands like Asteroids Galaxy Tour and Bombay Bicycle Club, Vacationer’s second album, Relief, was released in 2014. Several years of extensive studio work resulted in the band’s third full-length, the Daniel Schlett-produced Mindset, which arrived in 2018. Wavelengths, a fully instrumental album recorded during the same years as Mindset, was issued by Paxico Records in 2019. Vacationer has gone on to headline Philly Music Fest, performed the first ever Made In America Festival and toured with artists such as Paramore, Tennis, Niki and the Dove, St. Lucia, Rubblebucket and Sego. Vacationer is back with their first studio album in four years, Cherish, on Paxico Records. The new album taps into the sonically meditative and unpredictable psych-pop dimensions of the band. Cherish is an ode to Ken’s recently passed mother, as well as an expression of appreciation for his closest loved ones. Cherish download and preorder is available now via VACATIONERMUSIC.COM / PAXICORECORDS.COM. Out everywhere 10/20/23.https://www.vacationermusic.com/Spotify / Instagram / Twitter / YouTube

Girlfriends w/ John Harvie + Slater + Macula Dog

**All Ages** Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PM girlfriendsAs the exceedingly prolific pair known as girlfriends, Travis Mills and Nick Gross conjure songs that are at once pleasingly familiar and warmly unique. In less than three years, the duo created not one but two urgent, inspired, and original albums.    They’ve already sold out the Roxy in LA; opened for Machine Gun Kelly; toured with Mod Sun and Grayscale; and played a festival with Twenty One Pilots. SPIN called girlfriends’ self-titled debut “polished, impassioned, and commanding,” comparing their cross-genre appeal to MGK and Trippie Redd. Fans streamed the first album more than 46 million times on Spotify alone, driven by songs like “California,” “Where Were You” (ft. Travis Barker), and “Jessica.”    2022 saw the release of standout singles like “High Again,” “Toaster For A Swim,” “Missing You,” “Pretty Mouth” and “Tattoo.” Their sophomore album (e)motion sickness was released in June 2022.    Before girlfriends formed, neither Travis nor Nick were strangers to creativity or community. The brash rap songs Travis posted on MySpace as T. Mills led to a major label deal, Warped Tour, and diehard fans. He later became a host for Apple Music 1. Nick played in a major label rock band before founding Gross Labs. Both guys are equally enthusiastic about having another go at the style of caffeinated pop-punk that first shaped them.    The group’s music is a vehicle for self-expression and catharsis, a means to process grief, uncertainty, and renewed vigor for life destined to connect with others who struggle.    That’s something girlfriends will never take for granted.John Harviehttps://www.instagram.com/johnharvie/?hl=enSLATERFrom seductive club bangers to therapeutic, night-time-cruising tunes, SLATER has solidified his role as a tastemaker and star of the new wave of alternative pop. Since 2013, Southern California’s rising underground sensation, SLATER, has blended the best elements of alternative, pop, and hip hop into a new, unique sound all of his own. Smooth, groovy, and infectious, his niche style is as reminiscent of early 00’s pop and radio hits as it is innovative and fresh. As a member of the collective, Vada Vada (consisting of The Garden, Enjoy, Puzzle, Cowgirl Clue, Lumina, and Glitch), SLATER is no stranger to experimentation. With over 20 releases under his belt, he continues sonically evolving his signature sound. SpotifyMacula Doghttps://maculadog.bandcamp.com/
