BAETRANADA: 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Three years of movement. Three years of cousins. Three years of rhythm doing something to your spine.    BAETRANADA is a dance-first experience built on rhythm, repetition, and collective release. Rooted in Black sound and movement, the night flows through house, R&B, Afro-diasporic rhythms, and forward-leaning club sounds—designed for bodies, not spectators.   Expect a strong presence of Kaytranada’s music woven throughout the night, alongside adjacent sounds that share the same DNA: warmth, bounce, restraint, and deep groove. The music moves in long, intentional arcs, allowing rhythms to stretch and breathe while keeping the floor locked in.    DJs trade energy—not ego—building momentum through feel rather than force. Transitions matter. Repetition becomes hypnotic. The floor leads, and the room responds in real time. B2B moments feel conversational, blending instincts and styles into something singular and unrepeatable.    Hosted with warmth and intention, the night celebrates three years of BAETRANADA and LILIANA SAREY’s birthday, grounding the experience in community, joy, and shared movement.    LINEUP 🎧 SUN 🎧 BROTHA TAAJ 🎧 AMEERWHO 🎧 RASHAAD B2B POETIK SELEKTIONS   🎤 HOSTED BY LILIANA SAREY   🎨 VISUAL ARTIST Glitch Jungle    BAETRANADA is for dancers who come to move, for listeners who feel bass in their spine, and for cousins who arrive solo and leave connected. If you came to dance, this is your room.

Defeat Device w/ Eurohead, Estoc, Precolumbian, No Author

The second event in Defeat Device’s ongoing series of live experiments and club-focused research. Featuring extended and live sets from Eurohead, Estoc, Precolumbian, and No Author, this installment emphasizes intensity, detail, and controlled pressure. Eurohead is a Swedish producer and swedm founder working at the intersection of hard dance, experimental club music, and pop-adjacent production. His credits and collaborations include core work with drain affiliates Bladee, DJ Billybool/Thaiboy Digital, and Varg2tm, but also extend to Skrillex, Yung Lean, and Korean hyperpop artist Effie. Defeat Device presents Eurohead’s Philadelphia debut, featuring an extended set moving between hard dance and restrained, atmospheric passages. Estoc is a globe-trotting hard drum and hardcore experimentalist who makes an all-too-rare appearance in Philadelphia featuring the US debut of her a/v live set. Peru-born Precolumbian blends global influences and ferocious drums with grace and ease. A Philadelphia mainstay, she brings one of her most uncompromising sets to this Defeat Device debut. No Author is a producer and music programmer from Traverse City, Michigan whose work fuses electronic experimentalism with club-inspired strength.

Subhumans

Subhumans are one of the most influential bands from the UK Anarcho-Punk scene of the 80’s, filed right alongside Crass and Conflict, and just as relevant today as they were during the darkest days of Thatcher’s Britain. Take your choice in how to label them – Punk, UK82, Crusty, etc, – there lies the attraction and consequent reason for their popularity, the band epitomizes non-conformity and connects with people in many different scenes.   With La Pobreska
