Law’s Lair w/ Matthew Law B2B Club Advisory

Welcome to LAW’S LAIR, a night of House, Club, Funk and Bruk.   It’s Halloween season, so feel free to rock a costume if you’re feeling the spirit(s). 👻   This month we’re bringing the Philly dream team CLUB ADVISORY (Krispy, Tunji, and Opiyo)! These guys always bring it, whether it’s in the studio or in the DJ booth.   Law’s Lair founder and Fool’s Gold Records representative MATTHEW LAW is a Philly veteran and staple in his own right. Now residing in Brooklyn NY as part of A-Trak’s FOOL’S GOLD RECORDS family, he makes sure to bring his Law’s Lair concept back to his home town to respect the energy and community that raised him.   Doors at 9:30pm • 21+ Law’s Lair is a safe space for ALL. We wish that all attendees enter with an open mind for each other AND the music. Spread Love.

Owen Stewart ~ S.T.O.P. ~ Riff Mountain DJs

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Owen Stewart Groovy, gravelly, soulful, and enormous. He draws you in right away with horns and swirling keys, blows you away with sturdy production (jam it loud), and knocks you over with timeless, fiery singing that renews your faith in recorded music. Only thirty-seconds-in and you’re already deeply thankful for this Philly gem of a songsmith. Just wait for the other tunes. Spoiler alert: they rule.   Born into rock at a young age, Owen’s dad Tommy Stewart was the drummer/lead singer for the late ‘70s band Cats, an Elektra Records group that opened for Van Halen on their whole (legendary) ‘80 US tour, and for others big ones like Blue Oyster Cult. It’s clear Owen’s proud to carry the rock torch, since such storied pursuits are basically cooked right into his bloodstream.    – Sean Corbett, Editor, Sometimes Magazine https://linktr.ee/owenstewart   S.T.O.P. MASON MANYARD, GARVIN & MAZLOW

Manchester-born DJ and producer Mason Maynard is a force to be reckoned with in the global dance scene. Recognized as one of Tomorrowland’s Ones to Watch in 2022, Mason’s groove-driven productions have earned support from legends like Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, and The Martinez Brothers. His standout releases on Hot Creations, Relief, and Defected, including the massive ‘Somethin’ For Tha Underground EP’ featuring General Levy, have solidified his status as a top-tier talent. Mason’s own label, Xscape, is already shaking up the scene with chart-topping hits like ‘Destino,’ championed by Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati. With headline tours across the USA, shows at global hotspots like Hï Ibiza and The Warehouse Project, and remixes for the likes of Elderbrook and Rudimental, Mason’s relentless rise shows no signs of slowing down. 2025 is set to be another game-changing year, as he continues to pioneer a fresh direction in house music.

Cal Blac & ZONE Drums + Mike Carney, Buggs

Jackson Cal Smith is a Philadelphia-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, session musician, and audio engineer. Smith, 28, performs and releases music under the alias ‘Cal Blac,’ which centers around an explosive combination of electronic production and live instrumentation featuring vocals, guitar, piano, and analog synthesizers. His diverse range of influences shapes a bold and dynamic fusion of classic genres (psychedelic rock, grunge, jazz, R&B) complemented by hard-hitting electronic backbeats. Balancing a reverence for traditional musicianship with the novelty of modern technology, his live performances are a refreshingly hands-on brand of electronica.
