Nappi Hour w/ Special Guest DJ Puffy

NAPPI HOUR PHILLY w/ Special Guest DJ PuffyOpening Sets: DJ Olo + MoreSoupPlease10pm. 21+.Founded in 2017 Chicago, Nappi Hour was created for one simple purpose: to create safe spaces for all Blackpeople to feel at home, everywhere. What does that look like? Knowing the amount of diversity that exists amongst us, one singular an-swer doesn’t work. There are a large number of identities within the African Diaspora, and an equally large disconnect between them. Some forgotten, some never learned, and some not celebrated. As a result of this, we noticed a social scene that generalized our people. The experience of going out and having a good time catered to one single monolith at a time. We saw an opportu-nity to build something unique that mixed together all of our cultures to create something great. Using a musical gumbo of the diaspora as a foundation, we curate unique experiences for an inclusive community to bridge the gaps between our people. After success in Chicago, followed by greater success in DC and NYC, Nappi Hour continues to provide experiences that bring us together. So, what does it look like to feel at home, everywhere? It looks like being in a room full of strangers, but recognizing that they are somehow still family. It looks like confidence on the dance floor. It sounds like the dancehall you hear at home often, the afrobeats you’ve recently been introduced to but feel connected to, and the 90’s R&B that brings the crowd togeth-er. It feels like a sense of belonging. There is a level of comfort and carefree energy with us that is incomparable to another. At Nappi Hour, it’s okay to let your hair loose. All sales are final. Must be 21+ to enter. Disclaimer: By attending Nappi Hour, you are agreeing to being including in photo/video for promotional purposes.
Polari: Urban Kowboi’s Rodeo

Get a dog little longy! Get a dog! Yee-haw! πππ – Patrick, or Urban Kowboi has been in Philly for about a decade and is always inspired by its rich nightlife and music, and how it’s transformed over the years. He has been seen the growth of Polari from its beginnings, and is honored to host the party this month, a party that, every month, brings together such a vibrant community of people. Although line-dancing is welcome, do expect techno and house at this rodeo. – RGV born, Philly based techno DJ who combines a variety of elements from predominantly latin, club, and house music to create a high-energy dancefloor. Being cofounder of the queer techno party Lindo and a resident DJ at Void, they exist in both the club and underground worlds for a range of musical experiences. – Lorboo is a non-binary multidisciplinary artist that hails from East Baltimore. Setting their roots into the Philly scene for the last 7 years and curating Sub Zero for over 1 year, they are no stranger to the underground. With a variety of music influences that range from dubstep, grime, hardcore , house, trance & underground hip hop & R&B, Lorboo has created a lane for themselves in the music scene. – Polari is historically the language of queer people. This is the party for queer people, by queer people so check your ego and LEAVE YOUR JUDGMENT AT THE DOOR. NO RACISTS, HOMOPHOBES, TRANSPHOBES, SEXISTS, MISOGYNISTS, BODY SHAMING, OR NONCONSENSUAL BEHAVIOR of ANY KIND. Unsure of someone’s pronouns? Ask! They may be subject to change!
