Polari is still only just in its infancy with its ~1.5 years of parties but with over 8 years of consistent good vibes, Club Congress is a Dolphin Tavern and Philly fave. This collab/smackdown is going to be a for sure good gay old time. Shang will be rejoining the Polari stage with Firestone, but this time with his CC partner in crime, and one of Philly’s legends, DJ Matpat (@clubbyboy). Expect a healthy blend of what you might find Firestone playing on any given Polari night and what you’d hear Shang and Matpat crushing The Dolphin with: genres might range anywhere from Disco; Pop edits; deep, funky, acid, house; breaks and garage; techno; trance, etc.! – Polari is historically the language of queer people. TalkPeck SoundSystem is back in Philly with another incredible lineup, including collaboration with DJ Logic. This is a late night show, doors open at 10:30pm and the show goes until 3:00am. Doey Joey will kick off the night with a DJ set starting at 11:00pm. This incarnation of TalkPeck SoundSystem features Matt McNulty, Mike Greenfield (Lotus), Sammi Garett, (Freekbass), Benjamin Karp, Pablo Batista, Logan Roth (Trap Rabbit), Kiran Edwards (Residual Groove) and Miles Livolsi (Residual Groove).
