Since its inception, the band has made waves throughout the heavy rock underground, galvanizing their brain-melting attack over the course of tours with Corrosion of Conformity, Ruby the Hatchet, Ecstatic Vision, and Royal Thunder, and appearances at fests including Psycho Las Vegas, Desert Fest New York, The Obelisk All-Dayer, Muddy Roots and Decibel Metal and Beer. Fusing their strongest lineup into place just ahead of the pandemic, Heavy Temple took advantage of the forced layoff from touring to finish and release their first official full-length, Lupi Amoris, which arrived in June 2021 on Magnetic Eye Records. Battle of Xi Bands
Save the date for Battle of Xi Bands! This event is a benefit concert run by the Alpha Xi Delta chapter of Temple University. All proceeds will be donated to FosterClub and StandUp for Kids, which help to raise money and give resources to youth living in foster care or without housing. Six local bands will face off to be the audience’s favorite by the end of the night. Attendees will have the chance to vote ($1=1 vote) throughout the event for their favorite performance, and the winner will be announced at the end.
