The Illustrious Blacks — aka Manchild Black and Monstah Black — are a real-life married duo and cosmic force of sound, style, and spectacle. As Afro-Electro-Disco-Space-Punks, they blend music, fashion, and performance into a genre-defying, interstellar experience. Fusing futuristic funk, hypnotic house, space disco, and synth-pop, their mission is to radiate joy, queerness, and pulsating positivity across the planet. Known for their electrifying DJ sets and visually stunning live shows, The Illustrious Blacks have lit up stages around the globe with tracks like “Step Back” and “Revolutionary Love.” They’ve also worked with artists like Soul Clap, DJ Minx, Toribio, & more. Together, they invite the world to dance, celebrate, and live the hype life.
