Haunt The House

Join Rock the House for a special Halloween show at Warehouse on Watts!   Legend has it that every October 28th the ghosts of local DJs arise from beneath the floorboards of Warehouse on Watts to haunt their friends who ask for guest list too many times.   This year, those DJs happen to be some of Philly’s finest and they’re ready to make you meddling kids shake and shiver!   Rock the House is proud to present HAUNT THE HOUSE, a night full of bloodcurdling B2B sets and Halloween mischief!    We’ve got your favorite ghouls and goblins this time: Whiterice (Pat Keo B2B Dumboul), Trez B2B Blanco Rabbit, Brand B2B Boundsin, and Billy Bevevino B2B Bridget B!   Early bird tickets are only $5, get them before they sell out!   Thanks to everyone who has been supporting our events this Fall 🙂   Instagram – @rockthehouse215 @whiterice_music @trezknox @blancorabbit_ @brand.audio @boundsin.music @Billy_bevevino_music @_bridget_b_

Polari & Dollhouse: “Together”

POLARI :: DOLLHOUSE :: 2GETHERHOUSE//ACID//DISCOWITH DJ”s:IAN SAINT LAURENTWASSUP GINAFIRESTONEPolari is historically the language of queer people. This is the party for queer people, by queer people so check your ego and LEAVE YOUR JUDGMENT AT THE DOOR.NO RACISTS, HOMOPHOBES, TRANSPHOBES, SEXISTS, MISOGYNISTS, BODY SHAMING, OR NONCONSENSUAL TOUCHING of ANY KIND.Have fun, but remember we are guests. Respect the space and leave it better than how we found it.-It’s no big secret that the Gayborhood is becoming less queer. Clubs that were once protected as safe spaces for all genders and orientations are now commercialized, playing questionable (old and not in the “coming back around” kind of way) music and filled with straight people looking for novelty. Places that were once for us have been co-opted for profit and as such, the Gayborhood has gained a pretty gnarly reputation. The Philly LGBTQ community has been vocal about it’s need for more places in which to exist in peace, without drunk handsy bachelorettes or $20 cocktails.💋 Firestone
